TO BEE OR NOT TO BEE
GIVE BEES A BREAK, GET HONEY ON YOUR PLATE!
What's this all about?
It’s about bees — the most important species on the planet, and they urgently need our help. If they disappear, our food, forests, and future disappear with them. We’ve all heard about deforestation and habitat loss, but here’s what often gets overlooked: bees are vanishing, fast. Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) — a crisis where entire bee colonies mysteriously abandon their hives — is wiping out 20-30% of bees across the country. The culprits? Deforestation, pesticides, and industrial farming. The consequences? Food shortages, rising temperatures, year-round smog, and collapsing ecosystems — all unfolding right before our eyes.
How can we fix this?
By giving bees an environment to thrive—and we’re doing just that. At Treephala Earth, we’re using our privately owned forest in Punjab to create a sanctuary for bees. We’ve already installed 250 bee boxes, and our 2025 goal is 1,000 boxes—creating a flourishing home for 30–50 million bees. These bees won’t just pollinate the forest; they’ll keep nearby farmlands alive, ensuring food security and ecosystem balance. But we can’t do it alone. We need you! And if you like honey, you’re going to love this. To reach our target of 1,000 bee boxes, we are offering you a rare opportunity to Adopt a Bee Box and receive a share of pure honey from your hive through the year. See below for further information.
Why Treephala Forest?
Because it’s bee paradise. One of the last untouched forests in the region, it’s home to 300+ plant species, teeming with wildlife, rich biodiversity, clean water, and a chemical-free environment—everything bees need to thrive. Your adopted bee box will be placed in this untouched, thriving ecosystem, ensuring healthier bees and the highest quality honey—year after year.
How good is the honey?
From a pristine Ayurvedic forest, untouched by pollution, our honey set a new quality benchmark for India—winning silver at the London Honey Awards 2024 in our very first year! As conservation-driven beekeepers, we give our bees plenty of rest, creating a special, nutrient-rich honey unlike any other.
