Growing & Cultivation

Organized sustainable forest farming to overcome current unregulated cultivation of wild harvested plants that has led to an alarming rise of species entering the endangered list.

With our own forest and seed bank to preserve the originality and quality of our flora, we can consistently grow high quality medicinal plants. We follow a holistic, indigenous approach to growing and sowing. We only use hand tools for planting and cultivation. No mechanical harvesting or use of heavy equipment that destroys the spirit of the plant, something we want to avoid at any cost.

We believe sacred plants need to be treated as such and this is our fundamental ethos when it comes to training of farmers. We will only produce what the forest can give without harming its fragile eco system. We regularly train in sustainable forest farming practices that benefit the local population while protecting the forest.

Our planting method can be termed as “wild-simulated method” where we mimic natural conditions that are low impact with minimal or no soil displacement.

Processing and Extraction

Our fresh raw material collection centre and drying unit is based inside the forest while our extraction and processing facility is located just outside the boundary of forest, minimizing lead times with a negligible carbon footprint.

We use steam distillation, cold press and powder processing machines allowing us the flexibility of extracting oils and powders from a vast range of plants. Steam distillation is an art, and we are fortunate to have a master distiller with us. All products are packed in either certified food grade containers or environmentally friendly pouches.

To maintain the highest quality and consistency standards we test every batch of product using third party internationally accredited labs.

Limited annual production of every plant or tree depending on what is sustainable for forest. This not only helps conserve the biodiversity of forest but also ensures quality and consistency of our products.

Sales and support

To minimize risk of adulteration and ensure purity of our products we don’t sell via distributors or wholesalers. Our in-house sales and support team is here to work directly with you saving time, money and allowing you to focus on developing products for your customers.

As we are a young Company (still a sapling!) we can only introduce a few new plants to our range every year but if there is a plant growing in the forest you need (see Tree & plant list), contact us and we will be glad to work on your requirement.
